What do Rangers do?

No two Ranger meetings are the same! One week might involve paddleboarding, first aid, cooking or upcycling – the next might be all about planning a community project, getting your voice heard, or learning about mental wellbeing.

Rangers take the lead in choosing what they want to do, and there are opportunities to:

  • Earn skills builders and Ranger interest badges
  • Work towards the Ranger Gold Award
  • Go on adventures, international trips, and even camp or stay away with friends
  • Volunteer, lead younger groups, and get involved with the wider world
  • Develop confidence, leadership skills, and new perspectives

Rangers is also a great place to build your CV, prepare for university or the workplace, and make memories that last a lifetime.
