Inclusive Communications Checklist

We want all of our communications across Girlguiding Devon to be as clear, welcoming and accessible as possible for everyone. An inclusive communications checklist (found below) has been created to support volunteers and teams when producing newsletters, emails, social media posts and other updates, helping us to check that our messages are inclusive and considerate of different needs and experiences.

It offers simple, practical prompts to help us think about language, readability, accessibility, representation and tone, ensuring that what we share reflects the diversity of our members and reaches as many people as possible.
