Devon Girlguiding Heritage Collection
Did you know we own all sorts of historical Guiding items from the last 116 years? Uniforms, handbooks, newsletters and other records of local events, badges, photos etc… These are available for adult members to borrow (subject to certain conditions). We have resources boxes linked to UMAs for a unit meeting, or perhaps you’d like items to help celebrate a local Guiding anniversary.
We also have all sorts of possible short and long-term projects for anyone interested in our heritage. The heritage team is also happy to answer queries or help with research. We are also happy to accept donations Guiding objects or publications, especially if related to Devon.
