Plympton Division sits on the outskirts of the City of Plymouth on the edge of Dartmoor.

The historic Plympton St. Maurice, where Sir Joshua Reynolds was born and brought up, is an old stannary town. Here tin was assayed in the 1300's in the Guildhall. Walk up to Castle Green and see the Motte and Bailey castle and then cross the ancient Pathfields to the Ridgeway shopping centre and the swimming pool. Saltram House and gardens, a golf course, riverside walks at Plymbridge and Dartmoor make Plympton an interesting place to visit.

Girlguiding Plympton is an active division with around 200 members, all meeting in our very own Guiding centre which is also utilised by the local community.

We love to get together for events, sleepovers and international trips as well as supporting our community with litter picking and fundraising for charities.
