Girlguiding in Torbay
Girlguiding in Torbay is thriving, with over 410+ girls and 30 units spread across the coastal communities of Torquay, Paignton, and Brixham. Our members, from Rainbows to Rangers, enjoy a program full of fun, skill-building, and local adventure. With beaches, caves, cliffs, and coastal trails on our doorstep, our units frequently embrace Torbay’s stunning natural setting, participating in beach clean-ups, wildlife conservation projects, and coastal hikes.
Whether it's a Brownie pack adventure along the South West Coast Path or a Guide camp with a sea view, Torbay girls have unique outdoor opportunities, as well as indoor activities such as well-being activities, author inspired reading events, themed activities that promote creativity, teamwork, and personal growth. Each of our units offers an inclusive, supportive space where members form friendships and gain confidence through badges, awards, and community events.
Our team of committed volunteers, led by the Torbay division commissioner, makes all of this possible. If you’d like to register a young person for girlguiding or are interested in volunteering, please register your interest here.
